Amelanchier lamarckii is a truly unique, hardy tree that provides a rainbow of colour throughout the season. In April, it produces pure white blossom, making it easy to see why it has been given the alternative name Snowy Mespilus. When the specimen plant’s leaves open in the spring, they have an attractive bronze tint before exploding into a fantastic orange and red palette in the autumn. This unbeatable display is best positioned in sunny or partially shady borders containing rich, acidic soil. Height: 12m (39’4); Spread: 4m (13’1).
