Apple (Malus) Jonagold – 1 x 12L Pot As its name suggests, this is a cross between a Jonathan and a Golden Delicious. A high-quality apple that was developed in America in the 1940s. Jonagold has fairly large fruits will pale green-yellow skins that are flushed with red. The combination of Sweet and Sharp makes it fantastic for snacking. It is also a very versatile apple ideal for many purposes, eating fresh, cooking, juicing and even for making cider. M26 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of 2.5-3m (8-10′) This variety is not self-fertile. For the heaviest crops, it is best grown with another variety. If you only have room for one tree then make sure that a neighbour has a tree close by that can act as a suitable pollinator. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 2 years. Estimated time to best yields: 5 years.
