Campsis grandiflora (Large plant)

This deciduous climber makes an exotic looking feature for walls and fences. The dark green foliage forms a fabulous backdrop for the slender, orange-red, trumpet-shaped flowers, which are borne from June to August at the tips of the stems. Unlike most Trumpet Vines, Campsis grandiflora has fewer aerial roots to help it cling to walls and fences so it is best trained and tied onto a trellis or wire framework. Height: 10m (30?). Spread: 3m (10?).
