Clematis ‘The President’

A free flowering variety producing large velvety-purple blooms with silvery undersides from June through to September. The richly coloured blooms of Clematis ‘The President’ are followed by attractive silvery seed heads. Suitable for almost any aspect, this RHS AGM variety has maintained its popularity since its introduction in 1876. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 1m (3′) Pruning group: 2.
