Ideal for exotic gardens and shady woodland borders, the Edgeworthia chrysantha is highly desired and makes an astonishing specimen shrub. Known to be hardy to –5 degrees Celcius (23 Fahrenheit), it’s recommended to keep this deciduous, spreading shrub in a sheltered position; to prevent frost damage to the flowers. In Winter, silky white buds glisten before exposing gorgeous canary yellow blooms. Between February and April, the richly perfumed flowers decorate the tips of the bare stems; providing a remarkable display. Height and Spread: 150cm (59”). Flowers February-April.
