Hyssopus officinalis

Hyssopus officinalis is an attractive low growing, evergreen, flowering hedge. Hyssop is native to the south of Europe, Middle East and Caspian Sea and looks similar to Lavender. It has electric blue flowers that look great when planted in long rows alongside garden paths or driveways, or as a low hedge in vegetable gardens. The plant has a long flowering period and flowers from summer until autumn. The leaves of Hyssop are aromatic and produce a lovely smell, that can fill the summer evening air. Ideally, Hyssop should be planted in a sunny position, but partial shade is fine as well.  Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 100cm (39).
