The Honeysuckle ?Belgica? is adorned with tubular white flowers which gradually become yellow with striking red streaks. These sweetly scented flowers are later followed by red berries. This Early Dutch Honeysuckle blooms mostly during early summer, but on many occasions will yield a follow up flush in September and October.Hugely loved for their irresistible fragrance, Honeysuckle are very popular climbers. Perfect for covering walls and fences, or training over obelisks and will even intertwine through shrubs and trees. Culinary uses: The sweet nectar can be extracted from the flowers and made into a syrup or pudding. When parboiled the leaves can be used as a vegetable.
