A familiar feature of towns, villages and countryside all over the UK, the Privet hedge is one of Britain’s favourites! And for good reason too. It is fast-growing, easy to trim and maintain, and it lasts many years. It grows in sun or deep shade and makes a neat and tidy hedge. It is rarely troubled by pests or disease. Ligustrum ovalifolium produces clusters of white flowers but if the hedge is trimmed regularly these are unlikely to form. Supplied as 60-90cm (24-31) bare root hedging plants. Height: 4m (13?).
