Sansevieria Trifasciata Var. Laurentii

The Sansevieria trifasciata var. laurentii, or more commonly known as the Snake Plant or Mother-In-Laws tongue, is a tough plant with sword-like foliage. The virtually indestructible succulent is an adaptable plant which can survive in a variety of conditions. They are also quite tolerant to neglect so is ideal for a beginner or perhaps someone a little forgetful! The mottled green foliage has a golden outline, beautiful as it grows upright and rigid in a rosette. It is an attractive architectural plant perfect for life in a pot. Keep in a room with a temperature of 15C (60F) to 24C (75F), and it prefers a well lit position with bot sun and shade reach it throughout the day. As it is a versatile plan it will survive in full sun or shade also. It will deal well with cold draughts also so perfect for a entrance hall or conservatory. As it is a succulent it will store water within its foliage. Be careful not to overwater as this can cause the plant to rot. To avoid this allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering. It can be fed during its active growth period between March and September. Height Up To 100cm (39in).
