Shallots – Longor

An excellent elongated banana-type variety with copper coloured skins and pink flesh. Each shallot yields 6-8 bulbs at harvest. Very easy to peel and slice. Great tasting sweet flavour! Harvest June-September. 500g pack. Growing Information Pack on arrival and spread out in a cool, light place. Plant from october onwards. Allow approximately 30cm between rows and 15cm between bulbs. Lift crop when leaves turn yellow, dry in the sunshine and store in cool but frost free conditions. 400g of shallots (approximately 15-20 bulbs) will plant a row of about 3m.
