Spiraea x vanhouttei

At over a century old, Spiraea x vanhouttei is a firm favourite among gardeners, and has been given a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit. This deciduous shrub is known for its dark green foliage and summer display of white flowers, and is a perfect choice for the back of the border. An autumn display of purple foliage also makes this an ideal plant for a dense, informal hedge. Height: 180cm (71). Spread: 150cm (59).
