Thompson and Morgan Nasturtium Crimson Emperor – 30 seeds
Masses of deep crimson blooms with golden yellow throats cover the lax sprawling stems of this Nasturtium Crimson Emperor. The semi-trailing habit and lush green foliage this vigorous variety an ideal choice for summer groundcover. Perfect covering banks filling beds and borders or spilling from baskets and patio containers. Choose a position in full sun on well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow nasturtium seeds thinly at a depth of 20mm in drills spaced 30cm apart and cover seed with its own depth of soil. Water the ground regularly especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes 7-12 days. When nasturtium seedlings are large enough to handle thin them to 30cm apart.Alternatively sow nasturtiums indoors at a temperature of 15-25C. When nasturtium plants are large enough to handle transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Growing nasturtiums is easy and once established they require little attention. Quantity: 1 packet of 30 seeds
