Tomato ‘Santonio’ F1 Hybrid

Remember Tomato Santa? After several years of intensive trials, we are thrilled to launch an improved version of this previously popular tomato variety. With all of its attributes – not least its fabulous taste – Santonio produces similarly thick-skinned, glossy red ‘cherry plum’ fruits of about 8g (1/3oz) in weight. The exceptional taste has a good acidic ‘bite’ and a delicious lingering sweetness. Best grown in the greenhouse or in a sunny spot in the garden where it will require support and side shooting. Sow from February to April and you’ll be enjoying these tasty gems from July to October.
