Weigela ‘Black and White’

Weigela have been grown in British gardens for over 170 years, since they first arrived from China. Since then various new varieties have been developed by expert horticulturalists. Weigela ‘Black and White’ is a plant that really stands out from the crowd. It has dark green foliage that gets a purple tinge as the summer rolls on, as do the stems. This provides a fantastic contrast to the ice white, fragrant, tubular flowers that fill this compact shrub from May onwards. It s a great plant for modern planters and is also suitable for garden borders of small and medium sized gardens. Height: 50cm (20). Spread: 80cm (31).
