Veronica prostrata ‘Aztec Gold’

The purple flowers of Veronica prostrata ‘Aztec Gold’ make a striking contrast to the bright golden foliage. This prostrate speedwell is a mat-forming hardy perennial which creates a neat carpet of golden foliage, above which spikes of blue-purple flowers appear in early summer. The flowers are highly attractive to bees. Perfect as a ground cover plant on sunny banks, at the front of borders, in rock gardens or patio containers, Veronica ‘Aztec Gold’ is drought tolerant and incedibly easy to grow. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 30cm (12).
