Apple ‘Jacques Lebel’ is a cooking variety that produces large, green skinned fruits with very pale green-white flesh. The fruits are juicy with a sharp, acid flavour. Good crops can be harvested from early September and can be stored through to December.
Apple ‘Jonagold’ is a dual purpose apple variety that originated in New York. The fruits are particularly large with pale green-yellow skins that are flushed with red. The flesh is crisp with a creamy-white colour. The flavour is a combination of sweetness and sharpness with a rich aromatic taste.
Magnolia x loebneri ?Wildcat? is a double flowered hybrid with white, 10cm (4) diameter blooms, sometimes tinged with pink hues. The flowers appear during April on bare stems. Bronzed leaves emerge later which turn mid green during summer.
