Morina longifolia

Morina longifolia is an evergreen perennial which has at its base rosettes of delightful, glossy foliage with unusual thistle-like leaves and a delicious citrus aroma. In summer the Whorlflower provides a wonderful array of colours from the impressive, upright stems, that are tiered with whorls of white, waxy, slender-tubed flowers, which when pollinated will turn pink and eventually crimson, showing a spectacular variety of pretty colours at one time. This great hardy perennial will give a pretty cottage garden feel to any garden space, and makes perfect cutting and displaying flowers too. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 30cm (12).
