Staphylea colchica

Staphylea colchica bears panicles of fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers in spring, which are followed by bladder-like, greenish-white fruit. This display is what gives this deciduous shrub its common name of ‘Ivory-flowered Bladdernut’. Its thick stems are covered in pinnate, glossy-green leaves, and Staphylea colchica thrives in almost all types of soil. Height & Spread: 3.5m (11′).
