Philadelphus ‘Albatre’

Nothing beats the rich, sweet scent of a Mock Orange in full bloom! These hardy shrubs fill the air with a heady scent which wafts from pure white, semi double blooms which appear with a flourish in early summer. The leaves of Philadelphus ‘Albatre’ provide a dark green backdrop for the scented flowers. This good-natured shrub is easy to care for and you will hardly know it is there for the rest of the year. Use it as a specimen plant and allow it to arch its stems to perfection. It requires only minimum pruning and is certainly worth looking forward to at the start of the summer. Height: 2m (6’7). Spread: 1.5m (4’11).
