The large, purple-blue fruits of this fantastic garden plum are a bit sharper in flavour than most dessert plums, but still taste great if you like them that way! Where Marjories Seedling really stands out is as a cooking variety youll find it very hard to beat when making jams, plum pudding, tarts and stewed plums. It is simply delicious! Of course, if you leave it on the tree, it will sweeten nicely and is an excellent one for eating fresh! This variety is ideal for growing in gardens and produces lovely blossom in spring delightful when you sit out in your garden on those first warm, sunny evenings. Then harvest your plentiful crops in September and get cooking!
