Thompson and Morgan Strawberry Florian – 15 seeds
Strawberry Florian has gorgeous apple blossom-pink flowers that produce a heavy crop of good-sized juicy red fruits. Strawberries tasty but also rich in fibre and very high in Vitamin C. Did you know if you eat 5 berries a day they will provide more vitamin C than an orange.These can be grown under glass but as fruits hang from the main plant as well as its runners it is ideal for growing under glass or on a sunny patio in baskets or containers.Harvest: July until first frosts or May from early sowingsIdeal for: Baskets and ContainersSow: January to April for summer picking or October to December for early glass production. Sow seeds on the surface of a good seed compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or sealed container inside a polythene bag at a warm temperature of 15-21C (60-70F) until after germination which can be up to 21 days.
