Lavender ‘Edelweiss’

This lovely white Lavender makes a change from the more traditional purple varieties. The pure white flower spikes of Lavender x intermedia ‘Edelweiss’ appear in July and August above the aromatic evergreen leaves, attracting bees to the nectar-rich blooms. The delicious fragrance is a favourite with humans too, and these scented blooms on tall thin stems work well as cut flowers in a flower arrangement and are excellent for drying too. This shrub, also known as Lavandin, is perfect in a sunny border or wildlife garden and can even be grown as a low hedge. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 90cm (36).
