Mushroom Log – Shiitake

Crops in spring and summer. Ready to fruit logs from woodland restoration projects. Once mature they will fruit for up to four years. The logs are 50cm long and 10-15cm diameter and are inoculated with dowels. Available all year. Full instructions included with aftercare for the logs. You do need to be patient as it can be 12-18 months until they decide to fruit. When they do, you will get up to the third of the logs dry weight over a four week period. The log will fruit again for several years if kept properly. Not certified organically grown.
