Azalea Plant – pontica (luteum)

Azalea pontica flowers through May and June, a spectacular bright yellow centre is surrounded by pale yellow petals, giving off a lovely sweet fragrance. Through the Autumn its glossy green leaves develop into a burnt orange colour. A deciduous climber, growing in height and spreading to around 4m, this shapely large open Azalea is superb for growing in woodland and low maintenance gardens, its expanding habit will flourish when left in a sunny yet shaded position to grow.
