Iberis sempervirens
Native to southern Europe, Iberis sempervirens is a robust, but beautiful, subshrub plant that can thrive in poor soils and exposed sites. This Candytuft has sprays of white, fragrant flowers that cover the plant in early summer. It can be planted as a ground cover plant at the front of borders, or in alpine rockeries and also in garden wall crevices. The Royal Horticultural Society has awarded this plant its Award of Garden Merit. A light trim after flowers die will ensure the plant remains compact. Height: 30cm (12). Spread: 50cm (20).
