Ladybirds

Both adults and larvae consume huge numbers of aphids (greenfly & blackfly), and adults lay 20-50 eggs a day, building a huge population. Release ladybirds into your garden and greenhouse to tackle pest problems i.e. aphids on roses, or simply to boost the numbers of these native beneficial insects in your garden. Each ladybird will eat about 5000 aphids and will soon produce ladybird larvae which in turn also eat aphids. We supply native British Adult Ladybirds (Adalia bipunctata ) in packs of 25 with food included by 1st class post, ready for release in your garden. They should be released directly onto aphid infected plants or dotted around the garden either early in the morning or late evening. PLEASE NOTE: Ladybirds are normally despatched between May and August.
