Leek Plants – Stromboli

An early autumn leek with excellent quality and vigour. Even though plants are fast-growing the shanks will stand for a long time before needing to be harvested. Dark blue-green leaved plants produce chunky medium-length shanks which have a mild flavour, perfect to add to soups or serve as a veg in their own right. Plants blanch well to produce tender, white flesh.
