Chaenomeles x superba ‘Fascination’

For an eye-catching display early in springtime when most other plants are still slowly awakening from winter, choose the Flowering Quince. Bright and bold, flowering on bare winter stems, Chaenomeles x superba ‘Fascination’ brings an early splash of red to the border, or can be grown against a wall. It is loved by pollinating insects too, as it is a much needed source of nectar after a long winter. In late autumn, golden yellow fruits extend the season of interest and can be made into delicious jellies and preserves. Height and spread: 150cm (59).
