Clematis montana ‘Rubens’

With its compact bronze-green foliage and masses of pale pink, cross shaped flowers in early summer, Clematis montana ‘Rubens’ can completely cover a front garden wall or fence to make it appear like a hedge! It can also be grown in the more common way, climbing trellis on a garden fence, garage wall etc. The also look fantastic grown up against a summerhouse or shed. Clematis montana ‘Rubens’ is deciduous, likes well drained soil, and does best in a sunny position. Height: 8m (26′). Spread 2.5m (8′). Pruning group: 1.
