Cotoneaster horizontalis ‘Variegatus’
This variety of Cotoneaster has a very nice shape to it, making it ideal for gravel gardens, and borders in small and medium sized gardens. It has variegated leaves that have white on the edges, which contrast with the dark green. They are evergreen, and will remain in leaf all through the winter. In spring the shrub has a profusion of minature pink-white flowers and later, in autumn, these are replaced with red berries that garden birds love. It is very low maintenance with no work required once planted. Height: 100cm (39). Spread: 150cm (59).
