Ilex (Holly) Argentea Marginata Standard Clusters of scarlet red winter berries! Young purple-pink leaves mature to provide lustrous, dark green foliage with a bright silvery edge. The creamy white summer flowers give way to clusters of scarlet red winter berries that provide an essential food source for birds during the coldest months. In time, Holly ‘Argentea Marginata’ forms a magnificent, conical evergreen tree that makes a superb specimen for year round interest. This attractive female variety is ideal for woodland areas and low maintenance gardens. Ultimate height if left unpruned: 15m (50′). Ultimate spread if left unpruned: 4m (12′).
