Great Dixter Planting Spade

As much planting is done on our hands and knees, this short-handled spade with a narrow head makes digging larger holes easier and less arduous than using a hand trowel. The handle enables you to use both hands when digging, giving greater control and precision than a full-length spade, and its angled head enables you to scoop the soil out. A very useful tool when tucking in plants amongst others. It is also great for lifting and dividing perennial shrubs. A welcome and most useful addition to any garden. Size: 56 x 12.5 x 14cm. 42cm handle.
