Sempervivum ‘Mixed’
Forming a dense and low-growing tapestry of many-colours, the starry rosettes of Sempervivum are fascinatingly attractive. They come in colours ranging from shades of green to dark reds and bronze. In summer, they may produce curious thick stems tipped with flowers. Individual rosettes die after flowering but are soon replaced by tiny new rosettes which grow to fill the gap. Sempervivum, commonly known as Houseleeks, grow in dry, sunny spots and need very little water. They are perfect for an alpine trough, rockery, or for planting in wall crevices. Height: 8cm (3). Spread: 30cm (12).
