Rhodotypos scandens Plant

This unusual upright shrub, native to China and Japan, is the only species in the Rhodotypos genus. White cup-shaped flowers are produced from the tips of the arching branches from late spring to early summer against mid-green, serrated, heavily veined leaves. The papery flowers are followed by pea-sized glossy black fruits. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
