Hypericum x moserianum ‘Tricolor’
Hypericum x moserianum ‘Tricolor’ is a particularly low-growing variety of St. John’s Wort, making for excellent, colourful ground cover. The hardy shrub’s semi-evergreen foliage is easy to grow and requires little maintenance, even in poor conditions, but is most notable for its cream, pink and green leaves. When planted at the front of a border, this unusual folliage is sure to catch the eye of any passer-by. As if this tricoloured tone isn’t enough, the plant’s red branches also bear bright yellow flowers in July, August and September and distinctive, conical fruits in the autumn. This Hypericum’s year-long, colourful explosion ensures that no garden need ever lack interest. Height: 30cm (1′). Spread: 60cm (2′).
