Picea glauca ‘Alberta Globe’
A sphere shaped conifer, Picea glauca ‘Alberta Globe’ is a slow growing Alberta Spruce that looks superb planted amongst gravel, slate or bark chippings. It is an ideal plant for those with contemporary or oriental style gardens. It is also suitable for rockeries and alpine gardens and dwarf conifer collections in a wide border, or a shaped border in the centre of a lawn. Another option is to plant a few in modern planters and place them on patios and decking areas. There is no maintenance required as the small needle foliage remains compact and remains green throughout the year. The RHS has awarded this plant its Award of Garden Merit. Height: 100cm (39).
