Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-No-Mai’
This Ornamental Cherry is a delight and a surprise with two seasons of spectacular interest. The first delight comes in spring when the bare branches are covered in a fine show of delicate white flowers tinged with pink. This shrub looks lovely planted beside early spring bulbs, and bees love the flowers too, as an early source of nectar. The surprise comes in autumn when the leaves turn to shades of fiery orange and red. Prunus incisa ‘Kojou-No-Mai’ is unusual being a neat shrub rather than a tree, so it is perfect in the shrub border. It’s no wonder the Fuji Cherry has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 250cm (98). Spread: 250cm (98).
