Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Mariesii’
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Mariesii’ bears stunning white lacecap-like blooms in late spring, followed by red berries which then turn black. This Japanese Snowball variety has an impressive large, wide-spreading habit which has earned it a coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit. The tiered branches are cloaked in deep green ovate foliage which turns to purple during autumn. Height & Spread: 4m (13′).
